Apple Classroom FAQs
This article is meant to help you through basic problems that usually occur when managing students with your Macbook.
Why Can't I See My Students in Apple Classroom?
There are four requirements for you to be able to use Apple Classroom or Mosyle Classroom Manager.
- Students bluetooth must be on
- Students device needs to be on the SSD-SECURE network
- Students must be signed into their Apple ID
- You as a staff member must be signed into your Apple ID
How Can I Watch My Student's Screens?
**In Apple Classroom if you are signed into your Apple ID on your device you will be able to see all classes that are assgined to you**
- Locate the Apple Classroom app. (⌘+ Spacebar to search for the app)
- In the Classroom app you should see all of your classes your are teaching for the given year
- Select the class you are currently in to see the students device screens that you want to see. When you open the class it is automatically started to begin device control.
- Make sure students are the correct WiFi and their bluetooth is on
- To open an invididual Student's Screen you can click on their name and select the view screen button that appears

- To view all screens in the entire class you can click on the view screens button located at that top of the classroom app
How do I Lock My Student's into an App?
- Locate the Apple Classroom app. (⌘+ Spacebar to search for the app)
- In the Classroom app you should see all of your classes your are teaching for the given year
- Select the class you are currently in to see the students device screens that you want to see. When you open the class it is automatically started to begin device control.
- Make sure students are the correct WiFi and their bluetooth is on
- In the row of actions, select
, then do one of the following to open an app on the devices of all selected students

- Select an app in the list.
- Enter the name of an app in the search field, then select the app.
- Done.
